Lead us from light into darkness
— from Earth into space.
Lead us from the real to the surreal
— from Earth to the moon.
Lead us from the living into the dead
— from the living planet Earth
to the dead planet Mars.
... And eventually to the stars!
Who is there to lead us, though,
but ourselves?
We owe it to ourselves
to become more creative.
To continually grow in creativity
is a pact
we make with ourselves.
But it is also a pact we make
with the whole universe.

Long for beauty, life, and light,
thirst, thirst, thirst —
And creativity explodes from within,
thrust, thrust, thrust —
propulsive force enough to
take you on a long journey
to a star afar...
